Service Description

This small-group program supports toddlers and young children in developing early social communication, play, and engagement skills through guided interaction and structured activities. Children build comfort with routines, peers, and shared experiences while caregivers gain insight into strategies that support development at home and in everyday settings.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy At Character & Community, we understand that family life can be busy and unpredictable. Our goal is to keep scheduling simple and flexible while also ensuring consistency for every child and family we support. Cancellations & Rescheduling If you ever need to cancel or reschedule your session, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust your child’s schedule and offer the time to another family. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or change. You can call the office at 973-393-1260 or email us. (Please include your name, appointment date/time, and service type.) Less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a 50% session fee, and missed appointments (without notice) may be charged the full session rate. Running Late? We understand that things happen! If you’re running late, please give us a quick call. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but sessions may need to be shortened to stay on schedule. Emergencies and Illness We know that unexpected situations and illness can come up, especially with little ones. If an emergency arises, please contact us right away. We’ll work with you to reschedule without any penalty whenever possible. Frequent Cancellations Consistency is key for your child’s progress. Frequent last-minute cancellations may affect ongoing scheduling availability.
