1. General Information & Scope of Services

Character & Community provides educational, behavioral, and family support services designed to promote positive development, learning, and social-emotional growth. Services may include consultations, coaching, small-group programs, trainings, and family support sessions.

Our website provides general information about our services and resources. Information on the website is not intended to serve as medical, psychological, or clinical advice.

Services are provided by qualified professionals and collaborating partners within their respective areas of expertise. Unless explicitly stated in writing, services provided by Character & Community are educational, developmental, and supportive in nature and are not medical treatment, diagnostic services, or crisis intervention.

2. Participation Expectations

By booking or participating in services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current contact and intake information

• Attend scheduled sessions on time

• Participate actively to support consistency and progress

• Complete any required intake forms, disclosures, or consent documentation prior to service start

Failure to meet participation expectations may result in service delays or cancellation.

3. Fees & Payment

​

• All fees are due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged in writing

• Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and secure online payment options available through our website

• Any discounted rates, bundled services, or promotional pricing will be clearly stated

• Failure to submit payment may result in cancellation or rescheduling of services

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because our services require individualized planning, scheduling, and staff preparation, the following policy applies:

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment

• Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice may be eligible for a reschedule or service credit

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are not eligible for a refund and may result in forfeiture of the session

• No-shows (missed sessions without notice) are non-refundable and may be billed in full

 

Refunds are generally not provided once services have been rendered. In limited circumstances, a partial refund or service credit may be issued at the discretion of Character & Community.

We are committed to protecting client privacy and maintaining confidentiality. All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, applicable federal and state laws, and professional ethical standards.

6. Limitation of Liability

• Outcomes beyond our reasonable professional control
